Interesting Stuff From Around The Globe

This is a full scale model of the Stourbridge Lion. The Lion was an early steam engine locomotive. It was built in Stourbridge England, and eventually found its way to Honesdale Pennsylvania. The remains of the Lion were sent to the Smithsonian Institute where it was rebuilt. This replica and a smaller one can be viewed at the Wayne County Historical Society Museum 810 Main St, Honesdale, PA 18431.
